You Made CFB Mental Health Week Great!

We hope you’re all having a great fall.

Ours has been a whirlwind as we’re looking back on our travels and last month’s College Football Mental Health Week. We are still stunned and overjoyed with the outpouring of support, which made the week profoundly impactful.

During CFB Mental Health Week, 60+ universities showed their support, alongside the Pac-12, Big-12, and the College Football Playoff Foundation. This collective week of action garnered 140+ articles nationwide (including Sports Illustrated, On3, Seattle Times, and Yahoo Finance), mentions on ESPN SportsCenter, CBS Sports, and 429+ million impressions across platforms!

Because of supporters like you, millions of people heard the message that their #MentalHealthMatters.

We also surpassed our fundraising goal (of $33,333) and raised over $55,000! A huge thank you to all who donated. This funding allows us to continue our mission by traveling to universities, hosting mental health trainings, and creating programming like CFB Mental Health Week.

Most importantly, student athletes across all different sports, fans, coaches, sports psychologists, and countless others came together to break down stigma, host difficult conversations, and provide mental health resources. You can read all about the week, quotes from our partners, where we travelled, and our goals for 2022 in our review on the website!

As always, THANK YOU.

Thank you for showing up for your players - for your sons, daughters, friends, family, and for yourself - and making mental health a mainstream conversation. There is a lot of work ahead of us, but together we are making a change.

With Love and Hope,
Mark and Kym Hilinski
