From our Family to Yours

From Our Family to Yours

As holiday cards arrive in our mailbox, we are met with two sets of emotions: grateful for the beautiful faces of our family and friends on each one, and disheartened because we don't have a holiday card to send to all of you. It's impossible to take a holiday family photo without Tyler.

While we aren't mailing out cards, we do have these words to share that describe our hearts and we hope this verse helps those who have lost someone and is struggling with the emptiness and deep grief of missing their loved ones during the holidays:

As we always do during the holidays since Tyler passed, we go off the grid to just be together, share stories about Tyler, laugh and cry, rest and recharge our batteries for a new year of Hilinski's Hope travels and projects to add to our journey of hope.

During the first part of 2022 we will be at the University of Southern California, Northern Arizona University, Lehigh University and Montana for the Big Sky Sports Psychologist Conference for our Tyler Talks, and working with so many incredible people supporting the mental health of our athletes.

Our Unit3d Podcast: Conversations for Student-Athletes, with host Dr. Josie Nicholson continues in 2022 with a line-up of professional, Olympic, and collegiate athletes alongside mental health professionals, sharing their stories along with their passion to help others.

We'll kick-off Mental Health Awareness Month in May, with our fourth year of the #3for3 Challenge, we hope you can join so many across the world who "Get Up For Those Who Are Down" by sharing why mental health matters to you, how you take care of yours, and 3 movements for your mind, body and soul...3 burpees, walking or running 3 miles, 3 of anything, and then challenge 3 people to do the same! Together our actions will truly help raise awareness, chip away at the stigma attached to mental illness, and let those who are struggling know they are not alone and are surrounded by a monumental amount of love, support, and understanding.

Our third College Football Mental Health Week takes place in the fall, and our Hilinski's Hope team is also working on exciting and promising movements that we'll share with you as they unfold.

Our endeavors are possible because of your continuous support and generous donations, we are so very grateful for all of you.

Your commitment to helping us is truly changing and saving lives.

Sending you our hope, love and peace, and also some of our favorite family holiday photos:
