Cal To Participate In College Football’s Mental Health Week

Cal Bears

Cal is one of more than 50 schools around the country participating in the second annual College Football Mental Health Week, which runs through Oct. 9. Golden Bear players will wear helmet decal showcasing a lime green ribbon with a "3" in the middle during Saturday's game against Washington State.

The initiative is sponsored by Hilinski's Hope Foundation, which was founded in 2018 by Mark and Kym Hilinski to honor their son, Tyler, a Washington State quarterback who died by suicide. For additional information, visit the College Football Mental Health Week website.

The Cal-Washington State game kicks off at 2:30 p.m. PT from FTX Field at California Memorial Stadium and will be televised on the Pac-12 Network.
